Players are dropped into the wilderness town of Shitty. The RPG rules, life-band system, vampire attacks, and quest structure are introduced. The Duke is established as the arc’s central power.
Xavier's lord-of-the-night introduction
Xavier Ravenblood arrives early in the arc and delivers his self-introduction monologue, positioning himself as the players' guide against the Duke and setting the NPC lore tone for the rest of Bloodgames.
Day 1
Entrance
Player classes and opening roster established
Initial party classes and roles are set. Greg substitutes in because Vance is delayed; Jon is also delayed in arrival.
+1
Greg fills in for delayed Vance at the start
Vance is delayed in transit, so Greg steps into the early-arc role for the first day. Vance arrives officially on Day 3 and the team dynamic adjusts accordingly.
Day 5
Crown, poison, and resurrection chaos
A dense roleplay sequence involving poison, resurrection, crown theft, and shifting power turns the arc’s RPG framework into open chaos.
Day 6
Fight
Highwaymen attack the party
The fish are ambushed by highwaymen, creating a strong mid-arc fantasy-combat beat outside the standard vampire waves.
Day 6
Xavier’s anti-Duke role becomes clearer
Xavier shifts from comic NPC weirdness toward a central anti-Duke role, carrying artifact and transformation lore.
Day 8
Fight
Creature, Jimmy, and Letty conflict escalates
Quest interaction with Creature turns into heavier interpersonal and scripted-combat conflict.
Audience invents Wild Randy overnight
An overnight wave of TTS and SFX while the players try to sleep at basecamp produces the audience-created character Wild Randy. Production commits to the bit by hanging up wanted posters the next day, setting up Alex Stein's in-character arrival.
Day 9
Challenge
Protect-the-priest artifact retrieval quest
A structured escort and defense quest reinforces the arc’s RPG spine and keeps the artifact hunt moving.
Day 12
Challenge
Cell challenge begins
Production introduces the Cell challenge, the arc’s major late-game endurance and elimination structure.
Cryokeen and Tayleigh airsoft incident
Tayleigh, forced into the Cell via an audience poll, clashes with fellow fan Cryokeen and shoots him with an airsoft gun. Cryokeen threatens legal action and leaves the show early.
Oddbod passes the Cell test and joins the main cast
Oddbod is dropped blindly into the Cell as one of the test-fans. He completes the staying-overnight challenge and graduates to the main Bloodgames cast for the final two days.
Day 12
Challenge
Final Cell swarm gauntlet
The Cell evolves into a survival gauntlet where finalists must remain standing against repeated vampire waves.
