Mauro — known on-screen as Doctor Mauro — was an original Season 1 fish who quit the show on Day 9 in the wake of Simmons’ on-air ejection, telling Sylvia he couldn’t stay in the house comfortably. He returned to the show in the Day-29 freeloader wave that also brought Betty in, and crossed over into Bloodgames the following arc.
